THERAPY SHOULD FEEL LIKE A PLACE WHERE YOU CAN FINALLY EXHALE

Many of the women I work with arrive feeling exhausted, overwhelmed and quietly questioning themselves.

Perhaps you've become the default parent and carry the invisible mental load. Perhaps your relationship has changed in ways you never expected. Maybe you feel resentment, guilt or loneliness but don't feel able to say those thoughts out loud.

You may even wonder why everyone else seems to be coping when you feel like you're simply surviving.

My role is not to tell you how to parent or who you should become.

It is to create a thoughtful, compassionate space where we can make sense of your experiences together, understand the patterns that have shaped them, and help you reconnect with yourself with greater confidence and self-compassion.

I believe that when mothers feel emotionally supported, the benefits ripple through every part of family life.

WHY I DO THIS WORK

As a Clinical Psychologist, I have spent many years supporting adults through some of the most challenging periods of their lives.

Over time, I found myself increasingly drawn towards working with mothers during pregnancy, early parenthood and beyond. Again and again I saw intelligent, capable women carrying enormous emotional loads while believing they should simply cope.

Motherhood is often described as joyful, but it can also involve profound identity shifts, relationship changes, grief for the life you once had, anxiety, perfectionism and isolation.

These experiences are incredibly common, yet many women feel ashamed to speak about them.

My work is grounded in the belief that mothers deserve the same compassion they so readily give to everyone else.

I feel privileged to accompany women through this period of transformation, helping them better understand themselves, strengthen their relationships and create lasting emotional change.

WHY I SPECIALISE IN MATERNAL MENTAL HEALTH

IDENTITY

Motherhood changes far more than your daily routine. Together we explore the emotional and psychological transition into motherhood.

RELATIONSHIPS

Couples often experience conflict, resentment and disconnection after children. Therapy provides space to understand these patterns.

EMOTIONAL WELLBEING

Anxiety, overwhelm, perfectionism and self-criticism often become louder during motherhood.

ATTACHMENT

Understanding your own attachment experiences can transform the relationship you have with yourself, your partner and your child.

HOW I WORK

COMPASSIONATE

You'll never be judged or criticised.

EVIDENCE BASED

Everything I do is informed by psychological research and clinical expertise.

COLLABORATIVE

You are the expert on your own life. Therapy is something we build together.

THOUGHTFUL

Rather than offering quick fixes, we explore what lies beneath recurring patterns.

INDIVIDUALISED

No two mothers are the same. Therapy is tailored to your goals, experiences and values.
